Terms of
use.
The ground rules for this website. They are not the terms of any work we do for you — that gets written down separately before anything starts.

This site is information, not a contract
Everything here — services, descriptions, photographs — is here to show you what we do. Nothing on this website is a binding offer, a fixed price, or a guarantee that we can take your job. A price becomes real when we give you one for your specific vehicle or property, in writing, after we know what it involves.
The legal information on this site
The window tint pages summarize California Vehicle Code sections 26708, 26708.2 and 26708.5 in plain language, because it is the question customers ask most. That summary is general information only. It is not legal advice, we are not lawyers, and the law can change after this page was written.
Check anything you intend to rely on against the statute itself. What we will promise is narrower and more useful: before anything is cut we will tell you exactly what California allows on each window, so whatever you choose you are choosing it knowingly. Front windshields and front side windows are done at the vehicle owner’s discretion, and where the law requires a compliance certificate you will leave with one.
Work on buildings
Window film on a home or a commercial property is different from work on a car. Those jobs are quoted by text or in person but written up on a signed contract at the property before any work starts or any money changes hands, with the cancellation rights California gives you attached to it. If anyone tells you a text message is enough for a building job, that is not how we do it.
Photographs and content
The photographs and video on this site are the shop's own or come from the trades we share the building with, used with their knowledge. The layout, text and code are ours. Please do not copy them onto another shop's website.
Vehicle manufacturer names and film brand names appear here only to describe the cars we worked on and the products we install. They are their owners' trademarks and their appearance here is not a claim of affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement by them.
Limits
We keep this site accurate and correct mistakes when we find them, but we do not warrant that everything on it is complete or current at every moment. To the fullest extent California law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of this website itself. Nothing here limits our responsibility for work we actually perform on your vehicle or property — that is governed by the agreement we make with you and by California law, and we are not trying to sign either of those away.
Links out
Where we link to Google, Instagram or anywhere else, we do not control those sites and are not responsible for them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the State of California, and any dispute about this website belongs in the courts of Santa Barbara County.
